THE PERCEPTIONS OF DEREK ROGERS

Introduction (Please Read Carefully)
My name is Derek Rogers, I was born on the 30th of May 1987 and I have High Functioning Autism. This website is about how I look at the world from my perspective, about my autism, and about helping people to understand others on the autistic spectrum so that they can help them more. It also shares my interests with other people and many other things that I want to share with anyone who has a look at this website. You can think of it as being like a book that you could dip into now and again. As there is a lot to read, you can come back to read different sections whenever you want to, and unlike a printed book, I do update it from time to time, hence the date above this introduction will change so that you can see when it’s been updated.
There are 9 sections on my website, some of which have got colour-
I have a great many Wikipedia, YouTube and Amazon links on my website, and I wouldn’t expect anyone to click on every single one of them, and some of them that you may want to click on, you can do so after you’ve read my website. You may not want to visit most of the Wikipedia ones that are in blue as you may have already heard of some of these things, and there are a lot of YouTube ones that are in red. They give you a chance to watch the clips if you are interested in doing so, though you probably won’t want to watch all of them.
Also, if you’re on Facebook, and I know for a fact that not everyone who views this site is on Facebook, if you’ve very much enjoyed looking at my website, then after you’ve had a look at it, put a link to it on your home page and get your friends to have a look at it, and then get them to put a link to it on their home pages and get their friends to have a look at it, and so on, and let it spread throughout, that way I get more hits. I don’t want to put pressure on anyone to do that, it just means a lot to me if I have as many hits a possible. Anyway I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy working on it, however I wouldn’t expect anyone to read all of it in one go.
Contact me by email to leave feedback about my website.
